"Danny told me he sold church gear for a living. Candles, vestments- family business. Great-grandfather bought the rights to the enterprise from his brother-in-law some time in the '20s. Danny runs it today with his dad. He was saying they're thinking of expanding into the home furnishing realm though too, because demand is waning so much these days. It seems the old ritualized way of worship is going out of style. Now it's more just one guy in a suit with a microphone and no candles."
